This number is one of two 647 numbers. The other is 627-715-9895. What I usually do when the phone rings unexpectedly is I pick up the phone and say nothing. If you say something, then a person or a bot will engage with you. after about a minute of silence. I usually hear a click and then a busy signal and then I hang up. I think that this works to stop an unwanted call from the number that called you, but in the past 13 days, I have received 17 unwanted calls from different numbers!! The worst offender is apparently from Camden, New Jersey: 856-512. I have received 8 unwanted calls with this prefix. When I googled one of the numbers, I got what looked like Korean webs sites!

called me twice. when i answered, a 16 year old sounding teenager said hello? then there was a brief pause. He continued with yea, hey. the exact same thing twice. obviously a recorded message. its spam
